“When the Apostle Peter addressed the early church in the Book of Acts, he reminded them the gifts made known through Jesus Christ were not just for them, but for generations to come. Peter said “For the promise is for you, for your children, and for all who are far away, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to him.” (Acts 2:39)”
Over the past five years, our congregation has been preparing for the moment that will soon be before us. The dedication of the people of Augsburg through their time, wisdom, and gifts have brought us to a point of near completion of our major campus renewal project. God is in the midst of doing great things to create vibrant and versatile spaces for us to worship, gather together, and serve our neighbors! —Pastor Paul
Construction is moving smoothly to finish the third floor allowing us to turn our full attention to all of the ministries of the congregation. With completion of this work, children’s ministries will move into their renovated spaces, and we hope to be worshiping in the sanctuary by early June.
The Fulfilling the Promise Campaign goal will fund the site-work, parking and landscaping so that this work can be completed once the funding is in place. The entire courtyard area to the east of the sanctuary will be renovated to include safer steps, sidewalks and parking.
Visitors will be drawn to an attractive, more inviting view of Augsburg. An improved driveway will lead to convenient, well-lit parking. New stairways and walkways will provide safe and inviting access to the building and parking.
Your support of the Fulfilling the Promise Campaign will help to ensure that our campus renewal project is completed by raising the funds needed to repay the construction loan that has made these renovations possible and funding the last phase of the campaign to dramatically improve our campus with accessible walkways, beautiful grounds, and convenient parking.
